Medium - The Complete First Season (DVD, 2006, 5-Disc Set)

I LOVE this show so I wanted to have the DVD. It is based off of a true story and I can't wait for it to come on each week. By having the DVD, I can watch the earlier shows during the week while I wait for the new episode to come on.

I bought Medium - The Complete First Season (2006, DVD) and love it. If you like the show you will love all the extra material on the boxset.

Medium is FANTASTIC! If you have seen the show on TV or not sure but always wanted to check it...be sure to get Season One on DVD!! It is roughly about a woman who sees dead people, I know..I know!! But what makes this great is that she finds work with the DA's office and begins using her special "powers" to help solve murders. There are always lots of twists and turns!! She does all of this while trying to balance a home, hubby and 3 girls! Be sure to give it a shot...you will be pulled in from the very first episode!! TWO PAWS WAY UP!!

The show is great. Love the plot of the show. Want to collect all the seasons. Particia Arquette is a great actor. I really enjoyed watching the show on cbs on Monday nights. That is why I decided to buy Season 1.

I enjoy the series - the story lines, the acting, the settings. I have seen the past two seasons and wanted to see the first. Very much enjoyed it.

I got Medium the first season because I was watching it on tv and wanted to start watching it from the beggining. I love it now I understand alot of things I had questions about before. The way the stories are portraid its wonderfull. I always wondered what a psychic's world was like and Medium really puts you in the world of one.

The actors are great which makes this show better than most. The story lines keep you going and watching the family acting very, very normal makes it a special show in my opinion.

Great cast, quirky characters with real life and attitudes. Talented cast and screen writers who grace us with more than the usual predictable plots and dialogue. Not a show for young viewers, a good watch for adults.

I LOVE IT. THE FIFTH DISC HAS THE MAKING OF MEDIUM. THE REAL CHARACTER THE MOVIE WAS MADE AFTER, HOW THEY DID THE CASTING ETC. LOTS OF FUN.

I truly enjoyed watching the first season. I started watching Medium in its 2nd or 3rd season so it was nice to see it from the beginning!

I'M ALREADY A FAN OF MEDIUM. THIS IS THE FIRST SEASON THAT STARTED IT ALL. IT DEALS WITH THE META PHYSICAL WORLD.

The TV series is excellent entertainment.... Especially for those who think that there is more after death

I am catching up on the TV series that I accidently saw on TV. I'm enthralled by the series, and after learning that Allison DuBois is the inspiration for it, it has rekindled my interest in the paranormal. I am savoring every episode.

This is the first time that I've see Medium and I really liked it. It's based on a real life psychic's life and in the extras you get to see her and her husband.
I love the dreams but I wish her husband would stop acting like he doesn't know why she keeps waking up at night. The dreams are important and she has to figure out how and if they relate to her case. Interesting and fun.
Here's my only problem with it: the husband. He's so wrong to be the husband. He exactly like David Spade. His interview in the extras finished off why I don't like him. He doesn't fit Patricia Arquette at all, a coupling that would have never happened. He's supposed to be a Rocket Scientist and that's way too big of a stretch of the imagination. He can't do nerdy either.
I like the kids. The oldest one is in danger of being sexualized, I hope her Mom says NO! Good actors, both of them, the middle one is nutty and says her lines like Shirley Temple with a deeper voice but I find her interesting. I liked her interview in the extras. There's also a toddler who has no personality yet.
Watch it, I think you'll like it

The series is wonderful, mainly because of the family life drama it shows, I could take or leave the medium side itself, its the family dynamic that makes the show for me.

Love the mystery, family and work relationships, just an all around fun show. I bought so I could see every episode, it is that good!

I love this TV Show. And being based on the true life experiences of Allison DuBois makes it so exciting.

I watched the show from the start on tv and could not wait till it was released on dvd seasons.The story is incredibly well written .All the cast are great.i like how they work making sure evryone in the cast are used in the series .The children as well as the adults make this show a winner and i hope it continues on for years to come

It is great to see that those among us that have special abilities are normal and have normal lives too. Allison copes and juggles her psychic-ness with regular life. Each episode has a twist. I really enjoyed it as a tv show that was on a non-cable channel and I am looking forward to season 2.
