I finally had a chance to watch this movie the other evening, I know it seems like it was an older movie but worth every second . and its a true fact that people tend to forget while sitting at home that our rain forests are vanishing. this movie will touch you it will make you think for a minuite you wantto help it willl also confuse you as to how to help, it will make you cry, and you will laugh for sure, the pairing of Mr. Connery and Ms. Broccco, If i spelled her name correctly will knock you off your feet. its that .. Its that I want you but I don't want you to know I want you kind of love story mixedin to a serious issue. it is well worth buying tis movie. It was one of those movies you did not want to end.. you wanted more more even as it did end. Thank you for your time.

One of my favorite movies. I had it on tape and the tape died. The movie has beautiful scenery, excellent acting, and depicts to the audience the plight of the South American rain forests, their importance to average people, and the dedication of the people doing research there, all while entertaining the audience with a good story.

This movie was recommended by my mother in law to watch. I was a little bit not sure if it was good because I wasn't very familiar on what the story was.
But when I saw it already, BAM, what a great movie. All the things you are looking for a movie were there. Comedy, action, drama, and a little bit of love moments. Just perfect.
I like it at first and then beginning to love it at the end. And when I watch it again, I really LOVE it for sure. Good movie!
Nothing in it I disliked. So people if you are thinking of buying one, go for it...perfect movie for family! Go for it!

I bought this movie because we have it on VHS and we have watched it so many times that the tape is wearing out and no longer has a good picture. There are five in our family, ranging from 13 to 42, and the entire family loves this movie.

I loved the rainforest scenes and the story is fast-moving. I love Sean Connery in just about anything. This is the best one he's done since Bond.

The movie medicine man is a movie worth seeing more than twice. I bought the dvd on ebay because it is not currently on the market. The wide screen version needs to be enhansed to fit the hi definition tv screens is the only dislike iI have. Other wise very happy to be able to purchase it at a time when not generally available. the dvd version I received did not have the extra trailer about the rain forrest, it needs to be with it. It enhanses the rest of the movie.

For of all I love Sean Connery, and I will watch any movie that he is in.This is one of my favorites because I like the story line. and I like his female co star in this movie. The chemistry between the two of them is great. Very funny in parts and very touching in others. I just like the cinematography, the story line andthe acting. I don't care what the critics said about this movie.

Action, adventure, and Sean Connery! This movie is fun to watch and yet makes you think. We are destroying the rain forests in South America. This has and will continue to have a negative effect on our planet, and on us! This movie brings that to light. Everyone should see it. Especially young adults, as they are the people who will be in a position to changes things in the future. There is some nudity, but it is the natives who live in the rain forest and it wouldn't be real if they were made to wear more clothing. As you get into the movie it becomes very natural to see everyone's back side and women's breasts. (However, young adolescents might have trouble not giggling!) I highly recommend this movie!

I had the movie on vcr tape and lost it. When I tried to find it in the stores they don't sell it anymore. Then I decided to try ebay and there it was. Terrific movie. Worth watching over and over.

I love the whole storyline about man kind inadvertantly destroying what the seek. The thought the awnsers to so many illnesses are provided by nature and due to human intervention we have destroyed them. The whole story is so enjoyable and I'm glad i bought it
