A very disappointing book in the generally excellent "Demystified" series. This book is very small and takes up a lot of space in the back with a section on how to find a job. Some good information on the insurance claims process but too little on both Billing and Coding to make it more than casual reading. I'm glad I got it from the local library and didn't buy it. It definitely is not worth your money. If you're interested in this field then check out the accredited schools from the American Health Information Management Assn. or the Medical Assn. of Billers for their lists of accredited schools and consider buying the books they use in their courses instead. In general its always wise to see if the library has it before you buy a book like this.
