So, I purchased this item with my lvong boyfriend in mind. I knew he, as well as I, had been looking for this ganme for almost a year. Seeing as it was Christmas time (at purchase), I fiigured it would be the perfect present. I purchased the item around December 18th I believe. I paid via paypal for this one and included a message to the seller stating, I need this by Chrsitmas, please let me know if it will be a problem getting it by then. Well, Christmastime came and went. So I sent the seller two emails alluding to my dissatisfaction. It was right before the New Years when I got a response. It was simply stated that the seller was out of town and even if the item had gotten returned to him, he wouldn't find out for another week. No apology keep in mind. So I waited and waited. And sent several e-mails saying that I was very disappointed with this transaction and the seller's lack of initiative. This continued for three weeks until the seller said he was sending me out a second copy out of the kindness of his heart. (Keep in mind that I had paid for shipping insurance!) So I got the second copy only to find just the disc. Not the original jewel case nor the manual that I had paid for. And I still haven't recieved a apology from the seller. I send yet another email stating that I wanted some kind of redemption for the missing jewel case and manual. After several emails we agreed on a five or six dollar refund, I can't remember. Well, before he would send me the refund he sent me a email trying to barter over feedback. He said that before he would send me the refund he wanted to be sure that I would not post negative feedback about the transaction. Can you belive it?!? This guy was now trying to blackmail for the refund over feedback. He said how negative feedback can hurt his reputation as a seller and that does not allow him to provide for his family! The nerve of this one! Now, had I been smarter in the beginning, I would have checked his feedback becuase he has numerous negative and nuetral responses. I told him to refund me what I was owed and if he got another negative it wouldn't hurt his credibility any more that it had already been hurt. Feedback tends to speak for itself. So, he sent me the refund (Only becuase I had been telling him I would report him for fraud this entire time) So he got the negative feedback that was deserved. And I still never got my apology! What I did get was a email at the beginning of February from him aksing if I wanted to retract my feedback and he would retrack his. Well, considering I have gotten gleaming feedback from all other transactions, I told him that my reputation had not been tarnished and there was no way that I would retract my feedback. And seeing as though, he has had numberous negative and nuetral feedbacks, I thought it didn't hurt him nor his credibility becuase it was shot in my mind. So this is the shortended version of the worst transaction I have ever had in my ebay history! Just in case you were wondering, I haven't purchased anything since. My adivce to everyone out there is please check the feedback of the seller you are buying from becuase it truely does speak for itself.
