Medal of Honor: Frontline (Game Cube, 2002)

Medal of Honor is a great WWII first-person shooter game. You start the game by charging Omaha Beach on D-Day and the action never stops. The missions are pretty straight forward and you complete objective after objective until you reach the end of the level. But the enemies are pretty difficult and the computer AI is good so the missions can be challenging. The graphics are pretty good and the play control is smooth and realistic but can be difficult to get used to. This game is similar to the Bond games except Medal of Honor is more realistic.

It is very hard to get a clean shot with any gun besides the Shotgun and Springfield. The MP40 is only useful if you very close to an enemy, same go's for Thomson and SG 44 (a.k.a MP 44) .The colt has better range and faster reload time than MP40 and the Thomson. The gun I found to be the most useful was the Springfield 03'. The Springfield gives off a very accurate shot. You can zoom in with the scope on the Springfield; make it great for far rage shots. The Springfield is also useful for short rage shots if you zoom out a bit or without the zoom. The Shotgun is very useful short range shots. Only in the first mission you are with an army. The rest of the game your a one man army which is not how most of WWII was like. Spiltercell and Metal Gear also are also solo op game so if you like them you may like this game. But if you used to playing games like Call Of Duty or Rainbow six were you have an army helping you out may not like this game.

Over all this game is junk. Very unrealistic game play and poor rage of good weapons and this make you want to pass. They made the BAR crapy, which in fact is a good gun. I hope the Medal Of Honor series will get better but I'm not holding my breath, why should I let my face go blue?

This game is great, the controls and graphics are great. Four player is also great. The missions have good plots.

My husband loved this game and he wanted to get it for a friend's child. It was a game we knew that would challenge and keep the child interested in what they were doing. It did not disappoint.

The Story was awesome. I played it so much I was able to beat the game in two days. The only thing I didn't like was in multiplayer you couldn't set up coms to fight.

My son had a medal of honor game that had quit working and I wanted to get hiim another one, so I looked on Ebay and to my delight it was there and was priced very reasonable. It works great, as a matter of fact he is playing it now!

The kids like the fps games. We didn't have a fps for the gamecube. The game is like the one for computer. We want to get a lot of games for our gamecube, we will get more game like this one. This game is good, the price was lower than in the store. end

Frontline is one of the first in the Medal of Honor series. Nearly all of the action in the game takes place on continental Europe(France, Holland, and Germany mostly). The game is well outdated now(10/2008), but was "the one to beat" in its day.

I recently purchased it to play on my Wii. I spent countless hours playing the game on my Gamecube with friends in the multiplayer mode which supports four players. If you choose to play this game on the Wii you will need gamecube controllers as the wii remote and nunchuck are not supported by the game.

I heard it was great, it was OK. it was the same, shoot the stupid enemy bots in campain mode, multiplayer was just bad because you could always see your friend (or other person playing with you) on the radar!(like COD4) it was pretty good, good story, replay value : low

This game is okay. The graphics aren't great and you're all alone on missions and the levels aren't too hard to beat. Multiplayer gets old fast and so does one player. If you absolutely need a first person shooter than buy this game it will keep you occupied for a little while. There is a pretty wide assortment of weapons and the music is good. But this game isn't all the best first person shooter i've ever played.

i wanted a WWII game so i could experience some history though i know it's VERY far from what the real war was like. however, this game keeps you interested and has even scared me a few times but not in a bad way. there isn't any blood from what i've played so far so the only violence involves throwing grenades and enemies or shooting them with an assortment of weapons. the game's even amusing at times when you shoot at an enemy in a watch tower with your assasin-like rifle and watch the enemy fall from a distance. go ahead and add it to your gamecube collection!

I bought this for my oldest grandson and his friends. They like this type of game, even my husband enjoys playing it when they let him. As an older woman I don't like it much. To much bloodshed.

The price was really good, it shipped fine and was well protected. Was not in mint condition, but it runs fine. (I also think it was listed "as is" so I don't have a problem with it.)

I had a little trouble controlling the person but my husband and son really enjoyed the game. We are actually in the market for more like it. It is a war game so of course it is blood and guts but great game still. I would recomend it for anyone that really enjoys war type games.

The medal of honor series is definately one to own and good cheat codes are available for all of them.

this is a great war game that is challanging and exciting at the same time. A great army game for any collection, and this won't let you down from the easy level to the hard ones.
