Mechanics of Materials by R.C. Hibbeler (2007, Hardcover)

I purchase Mechanics of materials book,(Hibbeler 7th edition) the book is not as shown in the image.it is a paper back with different image not a hardcover as written and shown in the main page.This is the only thing i do not like in the book.I recived on time no dely.

The textbook Mechanics of Materials, Seventh Edition, by Hibbeler came right on time as school started to become challenging. The assumption was that the textbook would be delivered weeks later. Surprisingly, the delivery of the book happened in a few days. The condition of the book was like new.

The pages were high glossed and the cover is bright and colorful. When other students pulled the books, it is a little strange with such a bright flamboyant cover, but it gets the work done. The book was clean on the outside and the inside - high quality at a low price.

The affordable price provided the most attractive buying feature about the book. Being pressed for funds, the school bookstore was not an option. Compared to the other sites, this was a bargain.

Great book, good descriptions, and good examples. BUYER BEWARE: The SI version (international version) of this book is only in SI units, there are no english units in it. Same problems and same order, they are just all in SI units.
This is the only book I have found so far in my college career like this, but be sure to check.
The book covers all chapters quite well, and in a fairly decent order so that understanding can keep building without jumping around in the book to keep from losing information previously learned.
Looks to be well edited, very few type errors, and all print looks to be neat and without smearing.

I was disappointed to receive a "burnt" copy of a CD-Rom. The seller misrepresented the item by listing it as Hardcover in the title, while really it was a CD. He charged $13.99 for shipping, whereas it only cost him $1.96 to ship the CD. He would not respond to my request for a partial refund...I only requested the difference between actual shipping cost and what he charged. Overall, this was a horrible buying experience.

This book is the exact same as the US version of the book with ONE EXCEPTION:

***many of the problems in the US version are in english units, and seeing as how this is the int'l version of the book, all problems are in metric units, you cannot simply convert them over to the english units either, you will get different answers. This is a problem if you're needing this book for a class that uses the problems in the book as homework!

Good Book for a Good price, hibbeler is a great author. Very useful book with applicable examples and clear explanations on methods.

-very fast, i buyed is at Friday, got it on Monday (if I would be at home => Tuesday)
-good prize, the US Version on Campus costs ~160$, but it looks like the same book inside :)

Neg:
-Some buckles and hiccups (I hope it is called like this, I´m an exchange student from Austria :-) ), but I think this were from the transport, because the book was just wrapped in one plastic bag and two envelopes made of paper.

This seems like a quality product. Good substitution to its brother hardcover book. Its worth saving the money by buying this softcover book instead.

I saved over $50 by buying this international edition of a textbook required for my course. The contents are identical, the only difference is the quality of the paper it's printed on, and that it is softcover and not hardcover.

Good seller. Item was on E-file and the format was good. This was essential in the course since the professor was not that good. It provide a detailed step by step solution.
