This game is no longer supported by microsoft... They have released the code to the public and if you have a high speed internet connection you can download the game and any patches for it from secondary sources.
This game does play on vista though the bugs that came with it may cause you to have to restart it several times before it starts running smoothly. Overall the game was a fun game to play if you were a fan of mech commander 1. Also the graphics are not exactly up to todays specs so expect a lot of distortion.
