Mean Creek (DVD, 2005)

Have you ever loved to find the movies that slide through the cracks and then recommend them to family and friends? well, this is one of them. This movie brings as many twists and turns and ups and downs as any "big name" movie ever would and in the ned there is a lesson to be learned by anyone looing to avoid the big mistakes in life. Ride the rapids of "Mean Creek" and you won't be dissapointed. My sister has it now as I recommended it to her but as soon as I get it back I will watch it for a second time!

This a great Indipendent film. With a stoery of something most people think about doing. Only few go through with it.

When 12 year old sam is beaten up by the taunting ,overweight George , His friends decide it's time to teach the bully a leason. They invite George on a boat trip and plan to to steal his clothes before leving him, naked and aloan, in the midle of nowhere.
But as the day go's on and the trip on the river unfolds, the sceming buddies begin to realisr that George is no monster but just a misunderstood kid who's desperate to be one of the gang. Realising their mistake they agree to abandon their plan to get even. Then a game all us of have played some time or another called 'truth or dear' Triggers a moment of Tragic misjudgement.... a moment they will all live to regret. I'll leve it there as i don't want to give the story away but go by it as i did it's a great film that go's along the same lines as stand by me witch i have. Any way injoy the film ok I give this a 1010% score as it's a fantastic film.

I wanted to buy it because I knew Josh Peck was in it and I'm a huge fan. However.........I thought it was boring and depressing. But I thought the actors were pretty good. One star from me.
