Meade LX200 GPS-SMT 12" (750 x 314mm) Telescope

Even Though this Scope is only two inches larger than the LX200 10" That 2 inches make one of the biggest differences that you will run into. For Some Reason Meade just puts that little extra Effort into producing the 12inch. This Scope will also keep up with many of the big Dobs out there. You will see Detail in M13 that you did not think possible. On a great seeing night you can make out the Horsehead nebula in Orion. the Double Doubles of Lyra are split like you can not believe unless you are looking at it with the 12 inch Meade. Although I sold my Meade 12inch scope to a Gentleman From England a year or so ago. I did keep many accessories. I am trying to get an elevated dome setup and built just for this size or even larger. After owning this large of a scope I for one will never be satisfied with a smaller scope. There is just so much more you can see and will want to see after you have had one of the BIG GUNS. Is there some one out there who would like to adopt me so I can afford a 15ft dome that is elevated about 25 ft that I can mount one of these giants of the Telescope World.
