Meade ETX-90PE (325 x 90mm) Telescope

This is an exelent telescope. Very easy to use even for a beginner. Must read instructions carefully before using. As long as you align it properly, it automaticly goes to what you need or want to see. It auto alighns to the brightest star. When you auto allign make sure the first star it puts it on is centered and then hit enter, then do it again and hit enter. It does take a little while to get used to all of the functions and options but once you get used to it, it is very easy to use. Very portable and easy to setup. I purchaced this product because it is a nice telescope, has a lot of features and the quality is exelent for anyone. You can see details of planets and moons. I am very glad I made the decision to buy it. Very accurate and persice. I would recommend this telescope to anyone who want to have a nice portable telescope with the autostar suite. You can keep your autostar up to date by connecting the autostar to your computer and downloading the most up to date software. You can use the PC autostar suite to make your own tour and download it to your autostar controler. Very Nice. Very Happy with it. Glad that I purchaced it. Even with light polution living near Chicago, I can still see things very clearly and any evepiece that is 1.25 will work with this telescope no matter what brand the eyepiece is. Focal lenth is 1250 which is great for most of the telescopes that are the same price. Alot of the other telescope in the price rage of the ETX-90PE have a lower focal length. So the ETX-90PE is a good choice for anyone who is looking for a decent focal length at a decent price. If I did it all over again I would make the same choice as I did and I would still buy the ETX-90PE just because of all the features, focal length, portability, and price. An A+++ product in my eyes.
