Meade ETX-125PE (500 x 127mm) Telescope

For the money spent on a unit like this unless you can afford to buy a new one make sure to purchase an extended warranty sooner or later it will pay for itself, mead wants $500.00 for a five year warranty (their out of their minds) check with the mead dealers planet optics set me up with a four year no hassle mac warranty for $25.00 that is just a s good with no hassle, prepaid shipping, lemon replacement.
pound for pound this is the unit to get, it has wonderful optic, the L.N.T- level north technologies which removes the hassle of leveling and rotating the scope, instead of 1/2 hour alignment now I spend two minutes and its right on. tech support has been touch and go sometime you get someone really good sometimes the really good tech just got fired for helping you out.
the jury is still out on tech support but the scope is worth every penny.

Great purchase. Got a good deal on here. Was a local sale so was able to pick up the telescope from the seller. I am convince e-bay is the way to go. Mike
