Top Reviews Review created: 08/01/06(updated 08/25/06) by: 6 of 7 people found this review helpful. This little book appears to be a promotional item, like the toothbrush your dentist "gives" you at checkups. Chances are, many of the children and their families who need it already know much of what it contains, but the book presents a concise and compassionate overview of the bone marrow transplant process, in terms most children should be able to understand. It is designed to be marked by the child as belonging to him or her and thus, to be a tool in the process. As a friend of a family who are in the middle of the transplant journey, I was able to learn a small part about that trip. The book takes an hour or less to read, but contains valuable tips and suggestions for making the experience less unpleasant. Review ID: 10000000001462468 Was this review helpful?
