It has really big bright colorful photographs that you can search through to perhaps find that treasure you found hiding in your Grandmother's closet. McCoy put out pottery for over 70 years. The factory changed name several times in those years and the markings changed along with the changes. Also we collectors have found in all pottery and other glassware too, hat they were not always marked. Or if they were the used paper tags on a lot of there pottery. The actual dishes you cooked with and ate off of never kept there tags. Most of the time if you washed it off came the tag. This book helps you to spot styles and lines of ware they put out.
