We had a fisher paykal double drawer dishwasher, we decided to get this one due to the lack of space in the drawers and it didn't clean the dishes very well, we always had a few dishes needing to be rewashed, even with prerinsing.
The new maytag dishwasher works like a charm, it cleans the dishes very well. We've done several loads and there has yet to be 1 dish that needed to be rewashed - NO prerinsing either! We fit the same amount of dishes in 1 load that would have taken about 3 drawer loads.
The unit is a little pricey, but in my opinion well worth it.
