Maxwell Quick Medical Reference by Robert W. Maxwell (2006, Paperback, Spiral)

I work as a Sick Call corpsman occasionally with the Fleet Marine Force, I needed a book that was small enough to fit in a pocket but had information I needed from time to time. This book is a great addition to any medical persons collection of references. It covers:

1. ACLS ADULT EMERGENCY CARDIAC CARE -Color Coded in red pages
2. Lab Values -Color Coded in Orange Pages
3. Medical Administration Paperwork -Color Coded in Yellow Pages
4. History taking and physical exams - color coded in blue pages
5. Neurological Exams - Color Coded in Purple Pages

I personally use this book alot for the neuro exams such as cranial nerve tests, mental status, dermatone maps, and some lab value tables.
I highly recomend this book for the price, I paid like 10 bucks for it.

Worthwhile reference for medical students and residents. Small, can be carried in shirt pocket.

This is an invaluable asset to have while in rotations or even residency for that matter. Has quick runthrough and templates of every physical exam type as well as labs, vitals, etc. Just put it in your pocket and roll!

This reference has just what I need in a small, compact book. I can easily carry in my pocket and add things to the blank pages. I purchased several and gave them to my friends in the Nurse Practitioner program.

An absolute must-have on the wards, whether med student or resident. The most comprehensive quick reference for most things you'll need on a daily basis. The new water-resistant cover is an improvement over the last version.
