With the game and all the hype about movie, this is a big dissapointment. There's nothing i like about this movie. don't watch it. u'll be wasting your time.

Contrary to popular belief, Book and Game Characters totally Rock today and forever. Max Payne (Mark Wahlberg) is the good cop turned bad, that is, until we learn to hate to love him, that is. Big is better, and this is certainly as big as it gets in Tinseltown. Wow-eeeee.....!

With the advent of multiple technological events culminating together at once, we all, most certainly, simultaneously witness the jump in high quality storytelling culminated in film.

Before the story begins, we see a very dead Max Payne drowning one week after the untold story. This burnt out, dead beat, pencil pushing detective, who once knew happiness, has hit the dregs of society because he has nothing else to believe in.

Gosh doggy. I think that we all must automatically relate to this ITEM. Max Payne must be the super-bad super non-functioning COP of the 21st Century. Why did he even trust the scum he relied on the MOST to give him the heads up on his dog sniffing capability? That's because he just did. Don't let his contacts let you believe otherwise. He was looking for what was, and still is his wife and babies murderers. He will not stop until he get his KILLER(s).

The end lets us all see exactly how far he will go when comments to us "I must be seeing Angels."

He gets a boost in the end from the one true source that he had been fighting all along.

If you don't see any other movie thriller this year or the next, you must see this one. It will not disappoint you.

I really only bought this movie as a Mila Kunis fan, but I found the movie to be confusing and maybe mediocre at best. I didn't think Mila had enough parts, I didn't know what the hell the black creatures with the wings were supposed to be... angels maybe? I don't want to completely spoil the movie by going into too much detail but I just thought it was confusing and the ending was corny. However, some good notes about the movie is the soundtrack at the beginning and some of the action in the movie was alright. Otherwise, this movie is not that good because it just seemed too incomplete by movie's end. What the hell happened to Mona Sax at the end?? Also, is it just me or does Mark Wahlberg look and sound a lot like John Cena?

Decent movie. Fits the game pretty well. Id give this movie a 3.5 if possible (not good enough for a 4, but slightly better than average). If you were a fan of the game then I would recommend this movie to you.

Here's a good movie to watch and feel entertained. It is good to escape the cookie cutter movies that take so long to go somewhere. Max Payne is worth a look and if the price is right worthy of adding to your collection.

As Max gets closer and closer to the truth, he finds himself the target of a massive police manhunt, and in the crosshairs of the powerful kingpin behind the racket; soon enough, the angels and demons become downright deadly. Olga Kurylenko (QUANTUM OF SOLACE) is a beautiful Russian party girl who winds up dead after a late-night visit to Max's pad; her assassin sister (Mila Kunis) first goes after Max, then tries to help him get some answers. Rap star Ludacris (here credited as Chris Bridges) is a tough internal affairs cop investigating Payne's behavior. Shot in an impressively grungy palette of high-contrast grays and blacks, with snow and sheets of rain soaking the grim atmosphere, New York City is brilliantly morphed into something like Gotham City by way of Detroit, with a touch of X-FILES-style supernatural dread looming over everything. Director John Moore knows how to stage his action scenes: offices blow up, big chunks of rubble crush police cars, bodies and shattered glass suspend in mid-air for some of the slowest slow-mo moments in action film history. Fans of the video game and/or action movies in general should get a kick out of all the mega-loud insanity, stylish design, and Wahlberg, who never changes his mean expression, but still commands the screen.

I dislike that it was too different from the game. The game is very dark and dreamlike. The demons were a nice touch but overall the movie was an average plot.

It was one of Mila Kunis' best films post That '70s Show along with Forgetting Sarah Marshall. I think that this could potentially make out her best portrayal of a video game character. DYK, she was born exactly 15 days before I was? How intruging!

As always Mark Wahlberg is tremendous in this movie!!!!! He is such a actor that you really believe that he is the person in real life that he is portraying. He really jumps into each and every roll!!!!!!! This is a very action packed thriller that keeps you interested til the very end.........

I bought the NewPhone 74205 three weeks ago and was immediately impressed with the number of features available on this inexpensive phone. It has a 1M-pixel camera, video camera, and speakerphone. The NewPhone's size is perfect for carrying in a pocket and the battery has a pretty good lifespan of roughly 4 hours. My only complaint is that the menu system on the phone makes you click four times before you can find someone in the address book, set an alarm, or perform a additional functions. Other phones I've owned have simpler menus and get you to important features easily. Overall, I'd recommend the phone if you're on a budget.

i recieved this movie in great condition, no problems at all in the shipping, came in earlier than was stated. Would recommend this to my friends.

When I initially went to see the movie I thought it was going to have some whole angel or demon thing going on by the preview but it was totally different, which was ok because it was an alright movie just expected different.

This movie isnt as bad as some of the reviews state in my opinion, granted it is a bit slow at first and the previews were the movie almost but, towards the end it picks up almost instantly and you go woh what happened there lol its worth a few bucks to add to your collection

The movie was in excellent condition. Not a scratch on it. I would do business with the company again.

I bought this movie for my son-in-law for Easter, he says it is a great movie. This was a used product, but in very good condition. No problems with the movie.

i wanted to see the dvd,never saw it.hoping to get it.very upset about not receiving the product.i will like to know why you are not on ebay any more.

This has nothing to do with the movie. I would like the option to review AFTER receiving the DVD instead of while I'm waiting for it! My eBay says it's been removed....then nothing... I'm starting to feel Max Payne!

A movie with some action and supper dug that makes people think they are a super killer and makes them see demons that are not real.

Shame on me for not reading feedback.....ebay is remiss to allow this seller to continue taking money and not sending items to buyers.
