The Matrix (DVD, 1999)

Well who isnt familiar with this movie. If your not, you really are missing out. The story itself is a fascinating one, and to do it justice, you'd have to watch the movie. The movie is about machines ruling the world, every human is jacked in to a computer program, kept in a stasis, to be used by the machines for energy. A minor amount of humans were able to reject and escape the program, building in numbers in hope to defeat the machines and free all humans (Ofourse the machines far outclass humans). Without wanting to give away to much of the plot, what "The Matrix" is most famous for is its use of bullet time (Slow motion), special effects (There are many guns used, and each one seems like there was so much detail spent making it look real). If your a science fiction or action movie fan, this movie is very easy to take interest in. Its not a gore type of movie, its more action packed, mysterious, keeps your heart racing between many scenes. To know what the Matrix is, can only be answered by watching this movie, and its not one that you will regret watching.
