I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this curriculum!!! The elementary grades of the Saxon Math are absolutely fabulous! These materials gently develop concepts, and the practice of those concepts is extended over a period of time. Material is introduced in easy to understand pieces allowing students to grasp one piece of a concept before the next one is introduced. These are then practiced together until another one is introduced. This feature is combined with a continuous review in every lesson throughout the year.
The way they continue to review constantly and add new concepts makes this curriculum top notch in my book. It is also not a tear jerking experience, this is very easy to use so it is painless!
I highly recommend the elementary Saxon Math Curriculum. I do not care for the higher grades as the textbooks are very dry.
