If you love British humor, you'll love this Monty Python album. I own this on the original 33 1/3 vinyl record and have always enjoyed hearing it. Of course, the record had the unique feature of being a 3-sided record. One track on side A and two tracks running as parallel grooves on side B. Modern CD's cannot perform this nifty trick but the material is still fantasic to listen to, just without the novelty... Still funny after all these years! And Aristotle WAS a bugger for the bottle!

Thank you for voting. If your vote meets our Original 3 sided album with great inner sleeve artworkThis was the first album I bought after seeing Flying Circus on Channel 13 NYC.
The second side was originally split grooved so depending on where the needle landed, different material would be heard. Fantastic! And the inner sleeve artwork shows a man hanging by the tie. I think this album has the most non tv related material. The entire album is great though my favorite is side A.
This is a must have for any Python collector. Highly recommended! But maybe a bit to Pyhonesque for the novice. I'd recommend "Another Monty Python Record" or "Previous Record" first.
Or of course watch the original series or at least Holy Grail. By the way, that album soundtrack is outstanding as well and would definitely be a good introduction to Python on audio. That's how I got started. Sneaking out of sunday school and listening to the 8 track tape of Holy Grail in my parents Toronado.
Hope you enjoy as much as I have through all these years and will continue to enjoy.
