Movie Description
Tobe Hooper (TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE) directs this gory update of the classic short story by Ambrose Bierce ("Incident on Owl Creek Bridge"). It begins when a young boy, Kevin Reddle, witnesses his father kill his mother and, shortly thereafter, be ripped apart by an unseen entity. Years later, Kevin (Sean Patrick Flannery, BOONDOCK SAINTS), now the county sheriff, is tortured by memories of that fateful night. But his dark past revisits him when "the damned thing" returns and the town's residents are possessed by an unstoppable homicidal fury.
