I love being able to watch the dvd, starting and stopping to practice the quilting ideas on the dvd.

this is a great book and DVD for long arm quilters, the hands on information is a great learning tool, Im happy to add it to my library.

Karen McTavish is avery interesting person she is absolutely great, she gets down to business in her videos, I have 2 of them and looking for a 3rd one of hers, She is renowned nationwide, and very good quilter and DVD maker on machine quilting. Not only is Karen great she is a teacher as well, and I can't wait for her classes in SLC in May at the Home Machine Quilting Show. Still I bought her video's as a refresher. You can always sell her books at a second hand store if you finish with them. She is well sought after.

Karen McTavish has done her book & DVD in a great, straightforward manner that makes it easy to understand and easy to read & watch. If you're looking for a different, stylish method of quilting by sewing machine, hand or long arm-this is it!

I purchased this book because I saw this style of quilting when I was attending a quilt show in Paducah KY last April. I am always looking for new quilting techniques to incorporate in my machine quilting for myself as well as when I do quilting for others. There is a DVD included with this book which is extremely helpful as she explains her method and you are able to see how it's done right on your computer and then be able to go to your machine and try it. I am in the process of learning this method and look forward to including it in my next project. I like to be able to quilt in a variety of ways when doing free motion quilting and this will definitely help me be able to accomplish doing just that. I'm very happy that I purchased this book.
