I consider Dave Weckl the best drummer to ever live. Though this CD is now nearly 20 years old, it still rings with great grooves and great technique. This master of fusion drumming puts it all on the line in this album.
I decided to buy it because I wanted to collect all of Mr. Weckl's recorded works.

i purchased this cd to transcribe the opening track and also 'Softly As In......'. Corea (as always) is AMAZING on this latter track !!!

Dave Weckl is one of the finest, most gifted and talented drummers alive today. Dave has a wonderful contemporary style of drumming, but he can play any style including Latin. There ain't no one like Dave Weckl. You can listen to this CD over and over. It's great for those of you who love and appreciate jazz.
