
Great book
I read this book as a young salesman when it was first published. I am happy to see it is still available. The material reinforced and clarified skills I had learned from other more conventional and older sources. There are no "shortcuts" to success, no "born" salesmen. His methods are not for the lazy.
Tom Hopkins, along with other classic authors, completely understands true salesmanship...no b.s., how to practice humility (look up the definition), the importance of listening, asking for the order, when to shut up, and more. He presents practical, straightforward, current advice that works.
