Mary Poppins (DVD, 2000, Gold Collection Edition)

With today's special effects and high energy plots and stunts, Mary Poppins still manages to be a classic and a brilliant movie, delightful for young and old. There are times when you can see the wires with Mary flying and other little gaffes but this movie, for its time was so incredible. The songs, animation, performances, storyline just make Mary Poppins one of the best children's classics of all times.

This is a terrific classic Disney film redone so playing it at home on an HDTV is so much like when I first saw it at the movies. My young Granddaughter (3) sat through the entire movie with out taking her eyes off the TV once.

Mary Poppins is a classic -- has great music and dancing and is a fun movie for all ages. I bought it for my grand children and they took it back to Costa Rica, where they are now living.

When I was just a kid my mom loved this movie and I hated it ( only because my mom watched it almost everyday ). Now that I'm grown up, I've bought it for my kids. They want to watch Marry Poppins at least once a day. My 15 month old little girl loves Marry Poppinns. As soon as the music starts for this Great Movie she starts to screen for joy and laugh like she couldn't be happier.
So here I am again, watching Marry Poppins everyday, it's worth every second to watch. It's a great family movie. Now I like it just as much as my kids, I guess mom was right.

This truly an Old Time Classic, loved by everyone! One of the best of Disney! There is no substitute to Mary Poppins many have tried but none have come close.

I love the old disney movies! I use to watch this with my little sister and my Mom, my Mom is past away now, but it brings back alot of memories.

Who doesn't remember ' supercalifragilisticexpialidotious'. I don't know how to spell it, but can sing the song along with my toddlers. This is a real family movie that can be enjoyed, probably up to ages 10. The girls love it, so we will be playing it again and again.

I loved this movie when I was little and I rented it a month ago and it is just as wonderful and filled with magic as it was when I was little! Highly suggest trying it again!!

I bought this as a christmas gift. I was excited about the price,but when I watched the movie it wasn't even worth the price I had paid for it. It has tracking problems that a VHS wouldn't even have. I couldn't even watch the movie because it had constant streaks that ran through the screen for minutes at a time. My experience with this product was poor and I wouldn't suggest purchasing it.It was a bad idea for any gift.I purchased another movie for 4x's less from another seller and it viewed beautifully. So in comparison, I think that this seller needs to take their product off ebay.

My granddaughter had a copy of Mary Poppins that got lost during a move to another residence. She missed watching it so much I decided to look for a copy on Ebay. And of course I found several. I'm very pleased with the purchase I made.

It's Mary Poppins!! Need I say more. It is still a great movie now as it was when I was a child. A must have for any family. Great characters, great songs, great storyline.

This is my favorite 'real-person' Disney movie to date. I love Julie Andrews; she is one of my favorite actresses from the past generations aside from Audrey Hepburn and Elizabeth Taylor, that really have TALENT- she can sing AND act. This movie is obviously a Disney classic as it had been re-released so many times, but it's well worth it. It's a great family movie with catchy songs, and incorporation of people and cartoons for its time.

This DVD doesn't work! It plays to a certain part then freezes. I've tried to play it on different DVD players as I know some times the device doesn't read the disc well, but alas, it stops in the same place everytime

There are several movies that I believe are a must have for a child's DVD library and this is one of them.

We finally took the step to buy this timeless movie on DVD. All generations of our family are now enjoying it. We also found the extra features quite informative and fun to watch. We decided to buy it since the DVD would be longer lasting than the VHS copy we had.

I bought a Mary Popins 2000 Dvd about a mouth or so ago.I like that it was what I was looking for and i got it for a inexpensive price.The movie was Bran New and plays nice . I bought this because someone I know this is there favorite movie.
