Mary, Mary - James Patterson
A great suspense/thriller written by the Master James Patterson!
My third Patterson (I know, why am I reading the 11th Alex Cross novel first?) and I loved it all the way till the end, and then I really didn't like it so much.
Don't get me wrong, this book is well written, and traps you in its mystery. The ending just doesn't do it for me. I don't know what it was about the ending that made me so mad, but I just felt dissapointed by it. It wasn't predictable, and it was a good twist, something just didn't sit well with me.
I wish I could just tell you the ending and tell you exactly why I didn't like it, but I don't want to ruin the story for anybody else.
Final Verdict:
3/5
Borrow or Buy?: If you're a Patterson fan the ending won't bother you (my mother loved it) but being new to Patterson, I think this isn't his best work. That being said, up until the part that disappointed me this was my favorite Patterson novel, Go figure. A good read ending problems or no ending problems.
