Mary Englebreit's Take Good Care 2010 Calendar by Mary Engelbreit (2009, Paperback)

I bought the large wall calendar for the Mary Engelbreit illustrations I love. I was not totally aware of the theme, which was caring for the earth. Many of the quotes are from early environmentalists and others who understood the need for human stewardship of the earth. This made this calendar especially dear to me. I will enjoy the illustrations and quotes all through the year!

I have been a long time fan of Mary Englebreit's whimsical artistry and have been purchasing her calendar for, at least, fifteen years. Each year is a new creation. Her art work is so colorful and she incorporates into each picture a monthly quick quote such as "A weed is no more than a flower in disguise." by James Russell Lowell. It is a 'feel good' calendar and there is plenty of room to write in appointments, etc. I highly recommend this to anyone who is young at heart.
