Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes (Dreamcast, 1999)

I missed this game so much! I remember when I very first bought this game and was so excited that I couldn't put down the controller! I wish that they would bring out the classics for the PS3 so I could play all these classics online and do some team playing. For this game my favorite thing abou it is that Ryu, Sakura, and Zangife(misspelled) can all change into evil form, and Rye can change form 3 times! And the Last Boss is incredbly hard if you don't have a projectile player!

I LIKE THE GAME BECAUSE IT HAS MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS AND IT'S FAST. I LOVE THAT IT HAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PLAYING MODES.I DON'T LIKE THAT IT'S FOR AN OUT OF STYLE VIDEO GAME SYSTEM AND I HAVE TO OWN THAT SYSTEM IN ORDER TO BE ABLE TO PLAY IT.THE REASON I BOUGHT IT IS BECAUSE I GOT IT AT A VERY CHEAP PRICE I CAN'T PASS UP AND IT'S ONE OF MY FAVORITE VIDEO GAME'S I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR.

Great game - classic 2D fighter with beautiful graphics, amazing combos and real challenge. Fans of guilty gear, fatal fury and the like will enjoy the complexity of the fighting engine, and the over-the-top super-moves. Also good for collectors, and fans of marvel and capcom franchises - because it has some of the most epically classic characters pitted against each other in a battle of apocalyptic proportions.

I don't think this game is amazing (I actually prefer Capcom vs SNK) but it's still a great 2D fighter. It's sometimes fun having a 4 player battle (something you cannot do with Marvel vs Capcom 2) and it's a wonderful game to add to a Dreamcast collection. The super combos are all easy to learn and with practice you'll be kicking butt in no time. Just make sure you do take time to practice because the computer can be quite difficult to defeat at first.

Now this is the home copy that we all were waiting for! Actually has the nice crossover modes that is in the arcade version, as well as having the vibrant graphics and crazy characters that we all have come to expect from this series too.

Pros:

- Fast paced
- Flashy super moves
- 2 characters per team, 3rd characters acts as assist only
- The team hyper moves are actually a bit better than in Marvel vs. Capcom 2 in my opinion.
- Combo system allows for many consecutive hits
- Colorful levels; more comic book looking than Marvel vs. Capcom 2
- 6 different characters to unlock
- Great cast of characters
- Will keep you entertained for hours, day, weeks, and possibly even months.
- Two player mode will keep you entertained for years!
- The Dreamcast version of this game is much better than the PlayStation version. They removed tag team fighting from the PlayStation version due to its memory limitation. That takes a lot of fun out of the game.

Cons:

- If any, it would be for there to be more characters. Considering when it was released, it does have a very large character line-up.

Hands down this is, bsides part 2, my all-time favorite fighting game. Ive always loved it since the very first time i played it. I recieved the game, complete package and all, and evrything was in perfect working condition. Great job taking care of this game for so long. It truly is a classic and a must have for any fan of the series. Im jus lucky enough to have my copy, and will soon be recieving part 2. Until nxt time, One extremely "Happy and satisfied buyer"!.

This game has to be one of the best fighting games in my personal opinion. I mean, who doesn't want to see Spider-Man fight Ryu? Given its fast-paced punches and massive attack skills, this game even rivals the greatness of the Mortal Kombat trilogy.

I Bought this game for my 17 y/o son for Christmas. He has loved this game since he was about 10 years old, He loves comic book heroes. This is probly THE BEST game for dreamcast, But it is hard to find a working copy so be careful when ordering from ebay.
