Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (PlayStation 2)

I'm not joking, this game is very chaotic and might just possibly give the most immune adult a seizure. With up to six characters on the screen at a time, 56 total characters, and a ton of special moves; this game is amazingly chaotic! Play as all of your favorite Marvel and Capcom characters, including the ones that no one has ever heard of (really, we don't know where they came from). If you try this great 2D fighter, you may never go back to 3D!!

Although Marvel vs. Capcom 2 may be a button masher for some, air combos, infinities, and other moves require quite a bit of skill to pull off. Try for a 100+ hit combo, it's definitely possible!

I love the game, but wish the owner didn't misuse this produce. Also the owner was dishonest in the description of how the disk looked. What was misleading the own wrote the disk has light scratches, but looks like the disk had been bathed in acid.

I originally bought this game because I'm a big fan of both Marvel and fighting games. Add the fact that this is rare ps2 game and I was set on buy it at some point. The price of this game was something I wasn't too excited about. Seventy-five bucks for a ps2 game?! Let me say that again, $75!! This ain't 2001 baby.

Gameplay is pretty intense and the character selection is extensive on both sides, but who the hell gives two rats asses about the capcom side anyway? Marvel is where it's at.

The ingame music can get very very annoying particularly when compared to current game technology. You can only listen to "I'm gonna take you for a ride" so many times before you go insane. And trust me, those are the only words to that song.

All in all, a fun strangly addictive game but still without it's flaws.

I received it really fast no trouble at all with the item. It came from the mail so I just took at at my mail box when I was arriving home only 4 days alfter buying it that's good.

I'd like to give it 5 stars, but I'm bitter. It's been 5 or 6 years since I've played it. I won a few tournaments back in the day, it was fun. Now that it's been 5/6 years since I have played it, I'm terrible. It was an 80 dollar investment due to nostalgia, and I won't lie. Even as terrible as I am, I'm enjoying it. I had the dreamcast version before the movers killed my dreamcast, and it took a lot of thinking to cave and drop the 80 on this game. Am I pleased? Fairly. The rarity and price I cannot hold against the seller, but the developer was very short sighted and stupid.

The game itself is as fun as I remember. You just pick your favorite three capcom or marvel characters and beat the hell out of each other until you win or lose. If you've played any of the Vs series, you know the deal. If you haven't, well, that's all there is to it. My advice if you are just starting out is to NOT drop the 80+ on this game. It's worth it if you know the game or really need a fighting game fix. It's not if you just want a game to play.

I bought marvel vs capcom 2, simply because I find it to be greatness. however, the seller put tape on the disk inside the case to secure it I suppose. When I peeled the tap off, the top layer came off with it, so now I have a disk with a giant square of destroyed data. another words the game doesn't play at all. Now I have to go through the trouble of getting a refund, sending the trash back to him, and looking for another copy, which is no easy task, this game goes for a lot of money.

This was by far THE BEST arcade game ever and now it comes home to play against your buddies anytime... My 106" DLP projector shows it way better than the arcade tv ever could too...

Its like a comic book where you control who fights...It's awesome kids and adults love the game it has their favorite characters in it.

Save quarters, buy the game! Characters, combos, and turbo action. It has many characters but it takes time to retrieve all of them.

This is a decent version of the arcade classic. No doubt, one of the best fighting games for the PS2. Very hard to find. When will we see a part 3?

MAN BEST GAME EVER! A Great Fighting game with some of the best action heroes of Capcom (like Ryu,Chung Li, ect) and from Marvel (like Spiderman,Ironman,Hulk, Venom and more) There is over 50 characters to choose from and great for all ages! I do find it very hard-I have not been able to beat it yet even on easy-LAST GUY IS VERY HARD ,have to fight him three times in a row as he changes each time! -Very Addictive-I did purchase for about $90-cuz its hard to find. I admit the price sucks but if you are a fan its worth it ! I bought it for me and my sons and we love it-i am glad seeing i paid a TON-Luckily i got it for the price it did cuz its hard to find it under $100-I found a GREAT ebayer who gave me a great deal!

it was a very good computer version of the game. more characters were unlocked producing hours of fun. graphics are very hairy shows the age of the origanal game.

Why does this game own? Because it does. If you haven't heard of this game already then you haven't been skipping classes at your local college to whup on fools and put your quarter up. This coming from a long tradition going back to the original Street Fighter 2.
