Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes (Dreamcast, 2000)

its been one of my favorite games because it has the character of spiderman, my favorite comic book hero. the gameplay is simple and the mixture of streetfighter and xmen character along with other marvel characters seem perfect. i decided to purchase this because my original broke.

I sure wish I hadn't sold my Dreamcast with this excellent title. I used to play this game all the time when I was younger. You get an excellent array of characters that you can't possibly compare to any other fighting game. Includes 2 of my favorite super-hero companies! Great Capcom style fighting game which allows you to pick 3 different heroes to alternate against your opponent. This is a must have for any gamer aficionado. I wonder if they'll ever make a 3rd version, sigh :(

the game works great. it shipped on time and worked perfect.there was not problems. the item was exactly what i wanted. i love the fights. there are deep and quick. great reflex will be needed to be good. button-masher would do great at it. cause that fights are so quick.

One of the reasons for making the purchase of Marvel vs Capcom 2 for the Sega Dreamcase is because of it's fun gameplay and rarity. Not only is this game a near perfect arcade port but it's a lot of fun either single or multiplayer.
The Dreamcast controller, in my opinion, was not made for this game. However, if you use with the arcade joystick that Sega produced, it gives you better control and that arcade feeling.

Fun and exciting fast action 2d fighter. the selection of Marvel Heroes is awesome and very cool. Best fighter ion the Dreamcast besides Project Justice.

Probably one of the best arade games I ever play. This one of those games that actually that works smoothly for a fighting game. I play this when i was young and I'm still playing this now. This is too good for words. I reccomend this game to anyone.

This is just a great action packed fighting game. Sequel to Marvel Vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes. With a whopping cast of 56 characters to choose from this 3 on 3 tag battle fighting game never gets old. Every character has has 3 different assists to choose from. Tons of character and move combinations. This title was released on dreamcast sometime in 2000. It's now 2009 and major tournaments are still being held for this game. IT'S THAT GOOD!

what i like about it its a classic i had it and it got stolen from me there is nothing i dislike about the product its excellent.

I absolutely hands down love my copy of MVC 2. I recieved the product in i would say mint condition. Seller did an awesome job taking care of the disk for so long. Plays perfect in my dream cast. Couldnt ask for more. Delivery was really quick, communication between seller n i was great, and over all i am completly satisfied with not only this game, but the way this seller conducts business. - The Dreamcast version feels much more like the arcade version than the PlayStation 2 version. It is a very noticeable difference to me. I believe this is because Marvel vs. Capcom 2 on the arcade uses the Sega Naomi board. The Sega Naomi board is essentially a Dreamcast system, but with twice as much system and video memory, and four times as much sound memory. I assume it was easier to port this game to the Dreamcast than it was to port it to the PlayStation 2.

Cons:
- The character select screen has one annoying song that constantly loops itself.

i love this game. from the time i saw it in the local carnival and found a quarter in the coin return slot, then proceeded to beat about 14 opponents in a row. my mom got mad because she was done shopping and needed to get home to start dinner, but i continued to pummel all newcommers. great game, greater memories.

A Classic game, good fighting sequences, combos and adrenalin pumping game. A must have in your collection of fighting games if u are a Street Fighter fanatic. Really rare and expensive, so get 1 while u can.

I have a passion for Marvel Comics so I bought the game to indulge my pleasure in seeing the Hulk trying to rip the head off Ryu and Mega Mince. There's only 7 Marvel characters to choose from, which is disappointing considering the limiting amount of moves each character can perform. And did I mention the poor dreamcast controller that makes aircombos nearly impossible to pull off with grace amongst other deficiencies. Recommended because of the sheer joy of controlling the likes of Spider-Man and Wolverine in a fighting game.

I like everything about Marvel vs Capcom. If your a collector has myself, your collection is not complete without this game.

I LIKE everything about it well for 1 capcom best fighting games ever second its dreamcast which i think is still the grand daddy of all the systems of today man would i love to see sega make a come back after seein the power dreamcast had 10 years ago and still holds its own till this day!
