The game is great and thank you my son plays the game he is very happy with the game. I have looked for this game for a long time and now I appreciate the great deal.

the thing i dont like on this game is that the character automatically blocks, therefore making it difficult to manuever without pressing additional buttons! i think tthis is because of the seller, but it could be a game flaw. overall its an aight game!!!!!

We bought it for our son. He likes it, but it is kind of hard to follow. We read the book but it did not help much. I bought it because my son loves the Marvel characters. My son is 6 years old, so if it was a teenager, it might be better. My husband nor I can figure it out to really be able to play the game!

i bought the marvel game because i'm a pretty big comic fan and i wasn't disapointed. the graphics are great, the character choice made me super excited, and the surprise appearances of the villains had me giddy. the camera angle and adjusting it with the nunchuk was a little difficult at times but besides that its a great game that kept me entertained.

I had high hopes for this game. The one player version is ok. The two player version is awful. As both players move the screen spins to accomodate viewing. The problem is the screen spin contstantly, WAY TO MUCH. I've been playing video games since the original Atari, and this is the first and only time I've ever had to turn off a game because it was making me dizzy and giving me a headache. I would not buy it again.

great action and characters, this game is full of awesome marvel characters. Human Torch is the most fun.

I love it simply because it isthe one my son wanted, and I was able to purchase it at an incredible discount. it was shipped very quickly and arrived in great shape as promised.

This game is really a lot of fun. Using Marvel characters allowed by the game, the player constructs a team and battles the Masters of Evil, a band of Marvel super-villains plotting to take over existence. While the title and format of the game apply to the Marvel Ultinmate universe, the game allows the player to select different costumes for the characters as they are fiting in the game play mode. The game sequences (some of which are truly spectacular) are all done with the Ultimate editions of the characters. All around, though, the game play is fun and the usage of the characters would be any comic fan's dream. Unfortunately, the game does allow only certain characters, so the player doesn't have infinite choices, but I figure this is only a minor drawback. Admittely, I'm already a comic fan, but I found this game thoroughly enjoyable. What can you really say when you can pick and choose your favorite super heroes to save the world from destruction and one man's plot toward world domination. It is an all out fight with the best of the marvel universe facing off. I have yet to find right balance of heroes and abilities. But it has been fun discovering the weakness in my team.

My son loves this game. He is not usually very good at video games and this one he picked up on right away and has played it nonstop since. He loves how you can be so many different characters. My other son who is a video whiz kid really likes it too, so for the money I paid, it was well worth it.

I don't play tons of games but this game is a blast. In single player mode you're able to lead a team of heroes on various missions, some following the plot and some side missions. You can also play with 4 players which would be a riot. My brother and I played and had a great time. When you play two players you can chose arcade style or team mode.

So far I've completed about 3-4 missions and I'm loving every minute of it.

Con: The only con I can think of is that there aren't enough opportunities to save your current position in the game. However, as I mentioned above, I don't play a lot of games and I'm still pretty new to the Wii so this may be the case with all games.

If you're a fan of Marvel or super heroes I highly recommend this game!

i boutght a marvel heros video game for my wii system. i bought this game because i heard it was a fun game and it was not expensive. it came quick without any problems. the price was very good and it was shipped right after i paid.

love the game is even better playing with friends. the controls are sometimes difficult to master but its still a good game

Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the Nintendo Wii


I am a huge Marvel fan. I have collected comics in the past
and I have watched most cartoon TV shows and movies. I have
also played many Marvel games. I picked up Marvel Ultimate
Alliance for the Wii on a week long rental and I had fun with
it.

First of all you get an interesting way of controlling the
characters. You need the Wii remote and a nunchuk in order
to play the game. Before they cut you loose on the game you
go through a quick training mode to teach you how to control
and fight with the characters. So the Wii motion remote is
well used in this game.

YOu start off playing Captain America, Wolverine, Spiderman,
and Thor as you rush to defend a SHIELD carrier and Nick Fury
from an attack by Dr. Doom and his super villian group.

The game play is almost like a top down scroller. You control
a 4 person team and you can change your player by using the +
among the 4. As you progress through the game you get access
to different heroes. You can change heroes and save your game
through different access points on a level. You can also play
4 people in the game at a time, which is really fun!

When you pick different heroes you can create teams to gain
bonus'. For example if you pick the 4 members of the Fantastic
Four and play them you get a Fantastic Four bonus. Same goes
for X-Men, Avengers and such forth.

I noticed that a number of interesting background knowledge is
bantered around in the game. If you are a huge Marvel fan you
will get the background jokes and information that is tossed
around (Mr. StarK, the two young ladies are still waiting for you
in the lobby). This is a nice touch for Marvel fans but if you
are not a fan you do not miss much.

Overall I wish I could have spent more time playing the game
then I did. I only had the game for a week rental and I finished
the first couple of levels.

Enjoyed:

The background knowledge passed around from the Marvel Universe
The selection of heroes to play, and the ability to unlock extra
heroes.
The feel of the game (was like being in the comics)

Dislikes:

Bad camera angles at times (but you can roll the nunchuk to change them).
Poor Graphics at times.
Repetitive fighting styles. Swing remote, hit b progress.


Overall.

I liked this game. I'd give it a 4/5 as it tended to keep my
interest a lot more then other games I have played for the Wii
so far.
