- A lot of Marvel characters either are not playable or M.I.A.
- Fighting can tend to be repetitive.
- Effects glitch towards higher levels. (Requires a system restart to fix. Happened several times.)

Comments
This is only the beginning of games involving the entire Marvel Universe. Real time strategy will keep even an RPG hater interested enough to play through. There are only about 5 real CGI cutscenes and they look amazing. One of the biggest disappointment may be no Hulk or Punisher as well as a lot of other characters who won't be included. But most people will have their hands full trying to decide who to pick for their team anyway so it may be for the better.

Verdict
Must play for any fan of Marvel comics if not a must have title.

The best part of this game is that you can change your character while you are playing and you have a lot of hero's to choose from.

The great graphics and stories, the ability to pick your heroes and different missions make this one of the best games I've played in a long time. I haven't gone online with it yet, but I can't wait!

The game was fun and challenging a bit short though. I would have liked to seen more of the original marvel characters from back in the day.

I love this game. It is a lot of fun when you play with a group. Unfortunately unlike the X-box 360 version, you do not have of the other characters like Hulk and Magneto, but still it is well worth getting.

Its amazing how many different choices of superheroes there are. Highly reccomended to all marvel or superheroe lovers.

graphics are awesome, easy to play, awesome storyline!!!!! i decided to buy it because i saw it on youtube, and it looked awesome.

The AI is a little dumb, the computer played characters block you into corners and don't move, until you jump to one of them and walk away. On easy this game can make you quite sea sick, but normal wasn't that bad the rate of play was slowed significantly.

If you like RPG's you might like this. I hate RPG's so this sucked for me. I would not recommend this unless you like a lame button-tapping game. The view is very distant. I prefer first person shooters and regular action games.

I love the old marvel comics and grew up with them as a kid. However im more into sports games, This is game is recommended for those who get into superhero games. Awesome game just not me!!

Fun to play with 20+ characters, but after a few hours I lost interest.The whole game is walk-hit-jump-block-repeat. Just a lot of button mashing and calamity going on. Even with powerups and unlocking, it still all comes down to w-h-j-b-r! That plus EVERY LEVEL kinda looks the same: drab, maze layouts. Not much in the way of free-exploring or finding secrets. U can destroy a lot of the environment, but nothing to gain from doing it. Nothing about this game screams 'Wow, Playstation 3 is awesome!'. I only bought it becuz I'm a Marvel Comics fan; otherwise if you are not, don't buy this game unless u get it for $20 or less. Better yet, just rent it.
