    You can't go wrong with Martha Stewart when it comes to solid details and information on all aspects of keeping a house. I enjoyed this book, as the photos are clear and the material is well researched. From cleaning to care of floors and furniture, this book covers it all (would you expect less from Martha Stewart?)
    My only quibble is that this book is basically in black and white (even the photos)unlike so many of Martha's other books. I think this detracts from the aesthetic appeal of the book. Perhaps budgetary constraints were responsible for the decision and the book IS lengthy so color could have been expensive. Still, I'd prefer a book that contains color on nearly every page. This book does not.

    I bought this as a gift for someone who want's to know everything.I bought a second one for the same reason. Martha has a lot of things that my mother told me years ago but have forgotten. And one of the books was for my daughter and there was a lot of things in there that would be very helpfull to her.
