Martha Stewart is a perfectionist, as we all know, so why wouldn't the cookies she bakes be perfect also? I had this book on pre-order and absolutely love it!
Whether you bake cookies for your family, a party or even a picnic, they never fail to please....well,if they are Martha's Cookies they never fail! The editors of Martha Stewart Living has put 175 recipes with variations that cover everything from plain to fancy...including the traditional cookies we all grew up with and special cookies to enjoy as an adult! I have always loved the Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Raisin and now I can try her Rum Raisin Shortbread, Lime Meltaways, Cherry Tuiles and Chocolate Pistachio Biscotti among so many others. The book is organized by texture of cookies....clever! Most important....every recipe has a photo that is good enough to cut out and eat. Lots of tips and techniques for baking and storing and as always, Martha shows you how to show-case those cookies after they are baked if you want to give them as gifts.

This cookie is the most comprehensive cookie collection ever! The way it is separated by consistancy is the way I will be able to decie faster which speeds up the time for making my cookies. I had collected several of these cookies from her TV show and website, but now all of those plus many more are all in one book. It is beautiful, Martha, as usual for you. Thank you so much for your wonderful TV show that I watch everyday, appointments permitting. Elaine

I really like how the book is set up into different types of cookies by the texture of the cookie. A section for light and delicate, soft and chewy, crumbly and sandy, chunky and nutty, cakey and tender, crisp and crunchy, rich and dense. I like that idea a lot because often I am feeling like chewy chocolate chip cookie rather that a cakey chocolate chip cookie. Neat idea. Plus all the ideas for packaging and giving is really useful and so are the techniques and tools. I love the large photographs of the cookies so you know what they are supposed to look like. The large number 175 cookie recipes in one book is really nice for cookie lovers and even those who like the bar style cookies. I highly recommend this book.

) Martha is the best when it comes to being an authority on all types of baking and cooking, so there was no question on getting a book of her favorite cookies. She gives you a great variety and easy instructions. Everyone in my family loves cookies.

I really like this cookbook. It has pictures to every recipe, so no mistakes! It is put into categories, which make it easy. I have alot of cookbooks, but this one will be a favorite, especially for school bake sales. Martha, please do more!

The best part of this cookie cook book is that every cookie has a picture. I can let my friends and family pick what cookie they want and they know what they will get! none of that guessing on what the cookie may look like. Fun receipes and really broke down well. Each type of cookie. Love the book!

I've always been a Martha Stewart fan and enjoyed her books so when she came out with this book I couldn't wait to get it. I really love the index in the front that shows a picture of all of the cookies in the book. All of the recipes that I've tried have been excellent & very easy to make. The book has wonderful pictures for every cookie. I very highly recommend this cookbook!!
