The Martha Stewart Living Cookbook (2000, Book, Illustrated)

felt lucky getting this book the day it came out. The recipes are from her Martha Stewart Living magazine....all the best of the best! What I liked most was that it is not real fussy cooking but more on the traditional side. There are about 1200 recipes on 608 pages, for all kinds of occasions. This book has 19 classically arranged chapters from basic and breakfast to meat and dessert and of course in between you have everything else you could hope for! Martha has also included some cooking 101's for foods that everyone should have in their repertoire, like the Macaroni and Cheese and Fried Chicken. There are plenty of cooking tips and an equipment glossary which I found very helpful.
An up-dated Martha Stewart in keeping with our busy lives.
