The Marrying Man (DVD, 2003)

I love romantic comedys. The singing and songs are good. The father of the woman he was suppose to marry is great. It is the few times in any movie where the language fit the scenes so good I did not mind the profantie used. The father made the movie the best comedy to me I have seen in a long time. I have seen this movie about three times before I purchased it and watched in again the same day it was delivered. In these troubled times laughter helps.

Though this movie has often been panned, and one often hears of the misbehavior of the actors during filming...it is a fun and funny movie to watch. It has an awesome cast, a good story, and some great quotable lines.

It isn't going to save the planet, it doesn't have huge explosions and robots and superheroes, but it is a sweet love story told tongue-in-cheek. If you like understated humor (as opposed to gross-out humor) then you'll enjoy this movie!

I love this movie. Takes place in the 40's- I believe- and I've never seen Kim Bassinger so beautiful and sexy ever as she is in this movie.
The chemistry her and Alec Baldwin have are undeniable- it's sad to know in reality they didn't work out- but I love that this movie is about the love/ hate
relationships that a lot of marriages/ couples have- reminds me of my husband and I at times. Really cute movie!

This is a very funny, enjoyable movie. Don't let me leave out HOT and SEXY. It is a story of two people that have trouble staying married. There's some singing and you won't know unless you check it out for yourself. I would not want me to have all the fun.
