Marmalade Boy - Ultimate Collection (DVD, 2004)

A cute story about a girl whose parents get divorced and swap partners with another couple. To make matters more complicated, they all move into one big house together. And to make matters worse, she falls in love with her new step brother.

An old-school style anime with a fun soundtrack and an even more fun story line. Very cute, fairly easy to follow and a good light hearted time about the trials and tribulations of high school.

The Marmalade Boy book serious is a lot of fun too. I would suggest reading the books before you dump all sorts of money into the anime, just to make sure you like it. But if you are a fan of the manga or other Yoshizumi stories, it won't disappoint.

it is not the scarp book and it is in english that is why i love it.it has the japenesse begining and ending song.it seems like it has a very good story line to it.

I love this series, its a lot different than what you see these days. What i really like about this show is that it has good humor and none of that modern day erotic themes, for example now a days in ever show your always seeing i gay getting into some kind of a situation that he sees the girl naked or somehow he grabs her breasts or something stupid like that. They call it fan service but i think its plan out wrong. I personally recommend this series to everyone, its a shame it ended.

While this is an older anime and it shows in the artwork, it's truely a great anime series. It deals with not only the relationships of the two main characters, Miki and Yuu, but also their friends relationships. Miki and Yuu, despite having their families totally disrupted, make peace with their new life and fall in love with each other. Miki's best friend has been seeing a teacher and when it's found out the scandal tears them apart. You also have ex-love interests who are trying to get them back, as well as new ones trying to come between them. This romantic drama is like a teenaged soap opera and once you start watching you become addicted. The characters are very likeable and you can't help rooting for them to work things out and get together with the ones they love. It's definetely a good addition to any anime collection and, as they've stopped releasing it, is very hard to find anywhere else.

It was a great DVD set. I liked the story of the anime series. I got it because I wanted to see what the anime series was about. If anyone likes anime I would suggest looking at this series.

My 6 year old daughter loves this anime!
There are times i do think she is a little young to watch this,but there is not that much bad going on in this show.
I also enjoy watching it my self!
It is like a soap but in cartoon form :)
