This book has a high quality cloth binding, color photos, and a built in ribbon book mark. My granddaughter requested this story for Christmas but didn't tell me which version to buy. Illustrated caught my attention so I purchased this version. I and my granddaughter were both quite impressed by the old fashioned quality of this purchase.

I have been fortunate enough to own 3 yellow labs. John Grogan could not have done a better job describing life with his lovable yellow labrador. The entire time I read it I thought about the first lab I was fortunate enough to love. It is something that anyone that has ever loved a dog should read. You can laugh on one page and almost cry on the next, especially if you ever experienced some of the antics, happiness and sorrow that comes with such a close relationship with a great dog.
