Mario Power Tennis (Game Cube, 2004)

Mario games never get old to me and this is one of my favorite ones! I personally own just about every Mario Game ever made and love playing them. I really recommend that you buy this one because it is a really good one!

This is an excellent video game for kids and adults as well. I have enjoyed hours and hours of fun with my 6 year old son playing this game.
It has also made him want to try tennis for real (the same happened with Mario Baseball) and now he wants Super Mario Strikers (he is already in a children soccer league).
Anyway, this game provides you with the option of picking up a player from the Mushroom Kingdom. Every one has their own abilities and flaws when playing and a different powershot. You can also select their strenght from easy to expert.
You can select from several different stadiums and to play singles or doubles games. You can also select how many sets and matches and per game you would like to play.
This video game also comes with several minigames that can also played with the Mushroom Kingdom characters.
Overall this is an excellent video game for everyone in the family.
I recommend this 100%, especially if you have kids.

A fun title that's easy for kids. A lot of different modes to play. IGN gave it an 8.5/10, I think that's fair. It's a great game.

Saw the game in stores and looked very fun. Bought the N64 version so, had to get the NGC version to play. Enjoying the game very much. Has mini game versions of tennis. They've added some new characters that you don't have to unlock and more tennis like games such as: painting while hitting the ball as paint against the wall to color the picture. Helps to learn how to hit the ball with the right controller buttons. Love it, Love it!!!!

Game was good price and came very fast. My son is very happy with the game and loves to play it with his friends. We bought it because he had an older version (Nintendo 64) and had really enjoyed the game. We decided to get the updated version for his Gamecube. Thanks!

One of the best gamecube games out there. Easy enough for any novice to play (just get near the ball and push the A button) any yet still offers a lot more for the advanced players.

Simply fantastic. The game is so deep and has an almost infinant replay value. It's classic Mario fun with quirky mini-games and a wide variety to play the sport. Gimmick courts as well as standard (grass, clay, and concrete) courts provide for tournament surfaces. The game reaches its pinnacle when playing with a friend. It's a challenge to play against them and four difficulty levels make any player sweat as they head onto the court. Mario Power Tennis is one of if not the best sports game available for the Gamecube. Buy it if you like tennis, Mario, or just a downright fun game. Highly recommended!

I love this game...it has much more features than its predessor Mario Tennis for the N64. It has many fun loving mini games, and a variety of courts including the new gimmick courts. The power shots are spectactular and make the game more exciting. They can also help creat a comeback.

This is definately the best game for the gamecube. This game disbands the myth that tennis is not fun.

This game is awesome! It seems very simple at first, but as you get more comfortable with the controls, you will find that there is an incredible amount of variation in the player's ability to control the swing, slice, chop, and lob shots. Definitely a lot of fun and very challenging.

i love this game. i heard you could use old games on the wii. but the gamecube version is not compatible afterall. it seems to sense the controllers but you cant press any buttons. i just bought the wii version to save trouble and i love it!

I find this excellent product because in my opinion, with games on nintendo is still a good choice. That's my opinion. Then, the only thing that could disadvantage the product is the CD. Feedback is important, the seller while its advantage of not lying!

This game is for my eight year old who is a Mario freak.
He played with it already and loved it. Can't complain about this game. It's for a system that is obsolete and there is no improvement on any horizon, so, buy only if your a fan.

i like the characters. a few more would have been nice. maybe a few hidden characters also. more special moves for all players would have been great too. not characters sharing special moves like mario and luigi's. not a bad game but a few additions would be nice.
