Mario Party 5 (Game Cube, 2003)

As good as Mario Party 4 is, Nintendo was in a major rush to make it. They had to cancel duel mini-games and other mini-games just so they could release it in time. Mario Party 4 was a test and rush game. After Mario Party 4 was a success, however, Nintendo made another Mario Party for the Gamecube that they actually took their time on. Mario Party 5 brings back duel mini-games, has tons of extra mini-games and other games in bonus mode, and they even added some new characters like Toad, Boo, and Koopa-Kid. Mario Party 5 also started 3-D board maps wich are totally awesome! Plus there's eight of them. On all other Mario Paties, there's only seven boards (actually, Mario Party 1 has eight boards too.). You can also now create your own spaces with items and you can get items (now called capsules) for FREE! Don't forget the awesome DK and Bowser mini-games. This even has a fun and different story mode. Mario Party 5 is a must have game that up to four players can enjoy. Happy partying!

The new Mario Party games are making me sad. They seem to be getting lamer and lamer everyone after Mario Party 3. This Mario Party now cancles out the item shops and gives you capsoles instead. LAME!!!! I have think that Mario Party should stop and Nintendo should make a ending one itstead of making 500 different ones!!! I loved teh old Mario Party games but these new ones are making them look lame!!! I don't know how people can like these new Mario Party games. STOP NINTENDO STOP!!!! What is the point of adding on when they are taking away awesome features away from the old games??? I don't like this game or any other Mario Party they made after it!!!

Mario games never get old to me and this is one of my favorite ones! I personally own just about every Mario Game ever made and love playing them. I really recommend that you buy this one because it is a really good one!

This is game the whole family can enjoy from my 4 year olds to the adults. Easy to play. Hours of fun!

I decided to buy this particular game because my kids were playing mario party games at my sister's house. This gave us all 4 kids a chance to play. I searched for a certain price range, and I found it! I always watch feedback on the sellers so I know I'll get what I paid for.

first of all, i'm a college student, but my friends and I love playing mario party. i caution any serious gamers: the game is VERY juvenille, as would be expected. this, however, makes it a very good choice if you have more than a few friends who dont enjoy firstpersonshooters or other more mature games, as well as making it an awesome drinking game.

mario party 5 is my favourite videogame but this is not mario party 5 this is not even a gamecube game!!!

this game is very hard to find, even used. the convenience of being able to find it on ebay in great condition and for a lower price was great. having it mailed to you and not having to troll through town to find it was just the icing on the cake! ebay is the best for hard to find items.

Great game , specially for kids under 10, I love playing with my boy, its fun. We have Mario Party 6 and Mario Party 7 great games too. We wanted to try Mario Party 5 and its as fun as the 6 and 7. I highly reccommed this games to parents who like to spend time playing video games with their kids. Try them you wont regret it.

love all the mario party games, these mini games were harder than most. but i still love to play it, and im 40 years old.

i couldnt play it so i returned it. we bought mario party 7 from gamestop shortly after and that game rocks!!!

I decided to buy this game for my obsessed with Mario Bros 6 year old. We own the Wii console, so any gamecube game (which are cheaper and less delicate) will do.
