Marc Ecko's Getting Up: Contents Under Pressure (PlayStation 2, 2006)

First off, I can not talk about this game without mentioning the amazingly addictive storyline. It is easy to follow and just emotionally gets you envolved thinking as both the charector and yourself. The controls are rather easy to learn and the graphics.... damn their good. When you first view the missions your jaw may drop due to the amount, it seems like it will take you forever! The great thing though, is it doesn't. You get addicted to this game very fast, and it seems to just go by so fast. Thats what makes this game though, is there is just the right amount of levels to keep everyone on their feet and to still support the storyline. The ending, even though it leaves with the word END, it still is easily predictable to make another sequal to this, as the storyline still leaves Trane with some unfinished buisness. Basically, GREAT PLOT, GREAT GRAPHICS, GREAT THEME, its Brilliant.

Playing the game i was thinkin "theres something missing." GUNS. im sorry if i sound like a killer kid but i just like playing games with bullets and lots of dead bodies (im really nice. i am). It has a lot of cool fighting technics and theres a lot of climbing and hanging from ledges and stuff like that. sometimes when you paint, its kind of hard to finish all of it quick at the beginning but it soon gets easier as you progress due to the fact that your spray can covers more area as you pass a certain level.
As i watched the commercial for the game i was thinkin' "ooooo that looks like something i might wanna play!". Now, i dont know if the game take place in the near future or if it takes place in modern day but i was expecting a futuristic city . NOPE. It felt like it took place in the future yet it looked as if it were nowadays in ghetto. i was very confused by this. i just didnt have the heart to keep on playing the rest of the game. some people might get mad at me for that because maybe its one of those games thats ok in the beginning and awsome at the end. i wanted a game that gave you the feeling of once you start playing, your hooked. not once you start playing, you have to convince your self to keep on playing. if your reading this and say to yourself "i agree with that guy" then this game would be good to rent and maybe buy it. if you dont agree with me, then you just might have to buy this game. as for me, im gonna go play some call of duty so i can recover from this game.

I love everything about this game! I got a new PS2 for Christmas and this was my first game with the system. Despite advice from friends I purchased it and was very happy with the gameplay. This has a really great hip-hop themed story. There should be more Hip-Hop Oriented Games. The game is somewhat hard if you dont have any life on the street background, so that might be a disadvantage for some people.

The game is very challeneging very realisticly timed and requires loads of thinking and problem solving.



Overall The Greatest Game I've Played in Years!

In fact Marc Ecko's Getting Up is a really good game. First you could think that a game about making graffiti and that stuff would be really boring. But in fact this game is really cool combining a nice way to make graffiti and a really cool game play that makes you remember Prince of Persia. Although many people would say sometimes Prince of Persia becomes sometimes boring the idea of moving through New Radius in this game makes it not to difficult to progress in the game. Besides the good Graphics and the interesting videos Marc Ecko's has a really nice story that makes you want to finish the game and it makes you enter in the World of Trane. The music is amazing with featuring artists such as P Diddy, Fort Minor and many more. Nothign can go wrong with this game. With this great stuff combined Marc Ecko's Getting up Content under Pressure is a really nice game that is worth buying, worth playing and worth giving a shot too.

it was a real good game kinda of addicting has a really good plot good graphics and it does take forever to pass it like other games it has a lot of missions they are kinda hard but it is a really good game i reccomend buying this game

A great game, bought it for my brother as you ca not get it in stores in Australia, But your PS2 must have a special chip to play this game so be careful when purchasing for someone else.

I love the fact that it came just in time for Christmas. The game was new, in its plastic. My son was very content and plays non-stop with it.

Generally you wouldn't buy something without knowing what you are getting into. And being that this is the first game really of its kind, I wasn't sure what to expect. It turns out it is much better than what I had imagined. Somewhat addictive gameplay, and for the most part entertaining. The only issues I have encounted as of yet are problems with the camera angles. You use the R3 analog stick to control the camera angles while in action. There are some mild faults with not being able to get the right angle or close enough in when in certain situations, but that is really all.

Pretty enjoyable. And recommended for those who may be into this 'scene' You may also like this game if you are into the GTA series or maybe first person shooters/action games as this has a similar feel to it, obviously with a paint can rather than a gun.

I WAS LOOKING FOR THIS GAME FOR A WHILE AND COULD NOT FIND IT AT ANY GAME STORES .SO I LOOKED IT UP ON EBAY AND I FOUND IT . I BOUGHT IT THE SAME DAY FOR A VERY GOOD PRICE AND I RECIEVED IT WITHIN THREE DAYS. I THOUGHT IT WOULD TAKE LONGER. THAT WAS FAST CANT STOP PLAYING...

This is a great game for anybody that is interested in spray paint artwork and other forms of street art. there is alot of sneaking around to do and lots of levels to beat. it has a great story with the game and great visuals too.
the only thing i somewhat dislike is the controls could be a little better.
its a pretty challenging game aswell, so you have to put some time and effort into this one.
all in all the best game i have for PS2!

This is a pretty cool game. You baisicly go around the city tagging walls, trains, and anything else you want trying to get your name up and expose corruption. The gameplay is pretty good and the plot is interesting. The graphics are also pretty good but what makes this game really interesting is that it is the first of it's kind and a true original.

It is very close to the real thing. Great game for those who love to tag & write. Should be more games out there like this one. Just enough difficulty and challenge to keep you fully submerged in the game. This game is an amzing transition of the artform. But it is still a game and it gives you plenty to do:combat(unlock great moves)find secrets, great songs, see the greats, the game is really something else. you can also play with a friend in the combat arena. But in short you gotta see it to believe it!
