Awesome game. Prolly play with the lights on the music is kind of freaky. It is a short game but quite hard, fun to challenge others and see who can get the furthest.

Classic NES game really brings out the kid in you! Sharing this game with our children can help bonding. My son is always interested in seeing old games that I grew up with and this one was no different. Move your marble thru a variety of puzzles with assorted traps and enemies. Still holds the same challenge as when it was new. How well can you control the marble?

I bought Marble Madness for NES a week or so ago and I love it. I bought it because it was a game that I enjoyed as a kid, and it hasn't lost any of it's luster. My only issue with is the control is a little difficult. As far as entertainment value it will keep your attention for hours and hours.

  All time classic!
Review created: 02/19/08

This game is an all time classic. A must have for every old school gamer! good 3-d graphics for the old 8-bit NES. Great game play. VERY addicting. You simply have to guide a marble through a series of obstacles. This game is challenging, yet it starts out very gradually. A child could play this game, yet it gets complex enough for adults. It teaches you how to play with a few simple levels, then it makes you rack your brain.

Fun game that is put onto a old system. The graphics aren't great, but you can tell the difference between different objects. Fun game though. Trying to figure out where to take your marble through the various mazes. Vary good game for the system. Fun game then, and now. This game has been adapted many times on various systems including the PC. Highly recommended.

Decided to buy it because it's an old game and my kids had tons of fun playing it years ago. One of them requested NES and some games to go with. Nothing outstanding or negative about it, just a fun game!

  Awwww Playing with my Marbles
Review created: 09/08/04

Pros:
marbles racing down the screen, some funny sound effects and graphics

Cons:
it s hard, most people won t get it

Marble Madness (MM) originally appeared in the arcades in 1984. The title then soon found itself on Nintendo's popular NES console. The cool thing about MM was that you couldn't really compare it to anything that came out for the system. But today it s looked upon as one of those obscure titles that gamers either love or hate. Gameplay The premise of the game is simple: guide your little marble down a mini-obstacle course. You begin at the top of the screen and you have 60 seconds to make it to the designated goal area. But time isn t the only enemy. You ll also have to deal with a myriad of..

Pros:
Unique graphics and music; fluid controls; extremely addictive gameplay; excellent scoring system.

Cons:
None.

Simplicity can be a virtue. Such is the conclusion that will be reached by most players as they witness the pared-down and radical artistry of Marble Madness, a unique and sublime game. Read on if you wish to be immersed in the wondrous world of Marble Madness and even witness an esoteric take on the game. From the arcades to the NES The original Marble Madness was released in the arcades in 1984. The game was Atari's first of five titles for their new type of coin-up machine, the System 1. It was designed and co-programmed by Mark Cerny, who was barely 19 years old at the time. Marble...
