This is a great book written by Jeff Galloway, one of the most respected runners/running coaches. I bought it because I am in training for a marathon and I know the book contains valuable information on nutrition, rest, walking/running and how to read my body's signs. It also has information about specific marathons around the world as well as different training schedules for those who have time goals, for beginners and for people who want to lose fat. There is nothing about the book that I don't like but I wish it had more information about illness and coming back to running after having been ill. I would enthusiastically recommend this book to anyone considering marathon-running or even just running in general.
