Surprising clarity and well defined and rich low frequencies.
I guess the price you will buy it will be the main criteria. Within $200 range, this is the best I personally found
I tried and compared it to other cheapies like Arcam cd ver.1, Luxman DZ111, Pioneer DV-400V, and even with some more expensive cd players my friends have.
This one sounds better and does not mash sounds together like others at this price.
