Good kundalini yoga but too much barbie

After using Ana Brett's Kundalini yoga dvds, Fat Free Yoga, I decided I really liked this interesting, unique type of yoga. It's not at all like flow or power yogas that I've tried in the past. This dvd was a good intro to this practice. It had some challenging and invigorating poses/exercises, as well as a good balance with the spiritual side of the practice. The scenery was beautiful as were the yoga participants. I have to admit, I sold this dvd, because I felt as if the instructors were showing themselves off. It seemed as if the instructors were trying to sell yoga based on their own personal beauty and it just seemed a little fake to me. However, it is an interesting workout and your arms will definitely be sore if you're like me and can barely do pushups. And I did feel relaxed and calm... balanced... after this yoga sequence. I'd recommend Ana Brett & Ravi Singh's Kundalini yoga series over this.
