Man's Favorite Sport? (DVD, 2003)

I had to replace my older VHS copy and ebay was the perfect place. None of my friends have seen this movie and we are going to have a movie night next week (serving fish as dinner) and sit and watch it on the big screen. This movie will be liked by everyone! ANyone who enjoys the older classics with Rock and Doris or Prentis will love it. If you liked "Pillow Talk" you'll love Man's Favorite Sport.
I highly recommend this movie. I know of several people who place it in their favorite movies of all time list. :)

This movie was one of my favorites, and it is hard to find now in current circulation. Ebay has allowed me to find older sometimes out of print titles I would like to have. This film is funny just on the basis of the plot, but the chemistry between Hudson and Prentiss is great. It's full of innuendos,of course, but that makes it more interesting to follow it through to the end. I had no problems with the seller at all, and it was a smooth transaction. If you enjoy older comedies, you might just check this one out.

good movie...great for the whole family...you cant find very many movies for the whole family....this is a good one!!!!

An all time classic, they just don't make movies like this anymore. Rock Hudsons antics and Paula Prentiss' efforts to snag him really bring fun to the movie.

the movie was price was cheap.and the movie was deliver in good time.the movie is just what i wanted me and my wife love to watch it. it was easy to order i want to order more movies from ebay it is a good way to get just what you want and its a safe way to get just what i want and its easy and you don,t have to leave your house to order and there are a lot of good deals i was looking at some more thing on ebay like camers i was looking at some of them there was some real good deals

My wife used to watch this movie with her father, when she was a little girl. She said she would like to get this on dvd. We watched the movie together and this was the first time I have seen it. I thought it was a cute movie. We will have many years of enjoying the movie together.

This a good 50's comedy movie that makes fun of those who pretend to be what they are not. A good weekend movie to get a bowl of popcorn and get comfortable on the couch and enjoy watching.

This movie is excellent quality. My husband is a fisherman & will love the 'accidental' ways Rock Hudson keeps catching fish!

I haven't receive this DVD, and I have written the seller, and letting him know that I haven't recieved it. I don't know what else to do, and would appreciate some help in receiving this DVD

I saw this movie first at age 11 and was really smitten by Paula Prentiss and her husky voice. That and the fact it was a comedy was enough for me. So I had ample reason to get the DVD and dust off my 40-plus year-old memories.
The premise is nothing new -- a man with his life on track gets derailed by the antics of a strange woman, pushed outside his comfort zone and deserted by his fiance (or is it fiancee? I never learned the difference.) If you liked "Bringing Up Baby" or "What's Up, Doc?" this is the same story. In fact, several sight gags and entire dialogues from BUB show up in this movie -- I think they call that "An Homage." But the fishing scenes are completely unique, and the ending is positively surreal for the time period. Watch this with your significant other, and be reminded together of how much you disrupted his/her life.

This is one of my favorite movie's. Ive tried to find it locally but it is no longer in stores. " and trust me I have looked" So I was pleased to find it here on e-bay. Its definetly a movie to lift your spirits. A must watch for everyone !!!!

This is a good wholesome movie for the whole family. I laughted till I cried a few times. loved it!!!!

Typical Howard Hawks-witty repartee, enough sight gags to keep it entertaining all the way through. Found the chain-smoking and hard drinking ways that were customary back then somewhat wild!

This just keeps you laughing. I would recommend this to everyone. The DVD is high quality. If you enjoy old classics, then this is a must see. All the actors are fantastic.

This movie is truly one of the best ,clean,family style comedy movies out there! The cast is excellent, story line is fantastic.Paula Prentiss actually steals the spot light from Rock Hudson in this movie and out shines him with her performance.Although as a comedy ,Rock actual does an excellant job with his character.

I tried to find this DVD locally to replace a VCR
tape of it and it wasn't to be found in local stores. I was happy to have found it on EBay.

I loved this movie!! I bought this for my brother-in-law for Christmas. He had lost his vhs tape of this movie and wanted to get another one to replace. VOILA!! I did not have to look any further for his present. When received a friend and I sat down and viewed it to see if it was o.k. We laughed all the way through it and decided we would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed old movies. I give it 5 stars!!!
