Joan Crawford of course is excellent in this film. Her pairing with Spencer Tracy is almost as good as her pairing with gable. If your a Joan lover like me. See this film.

) For those that like Joan Crawford and Spencer Tracy, it is a real treat. This movie is very well written and acted. To the best of my knowledge, it is the one and only time these two gifted actors were in a movie together and it's too bad they didn't do more. The plot in this film is very entertaining and non-stop and even though it's classified as more of a romance film, I think everyone who likes the old black and white films will really enjoy this one.
