A good book if you are into Bounty Hunters!

The Mandalorian Armour is a softcover book that was written by KW Jeter. It was released in 1998 by Bantam Spectra books. It is the first book in a three book story arch called the Bounty Hunter Wars.
The basic premise of the Mandadalorian Armour is to explore the stories in the background that occur during the movies. The basic idea is that the Bounty Hunter guild has become to powerful and it is now a threat to the Empire.
The Emperor does not want to totally attack the guild because he still needs their services. However, with a suggestion from Prince Xizor of the Black Sun criminal organization the empire puts a plan in action.
Through trickery and deceit the Empire causes the Bounty Hunter Guild to split into two and start a war amongst itself. The thought is that only the strongest bounty hunters will survive, thus benefiting the Empire.
A good little read. I really enjoyed it!

) If you are an avid Star Wars fan who likes to go beyond the story lines in the movies, you will love this book. It explores the conflict within the Empire during the Skywalker Era. It also gives some background information on the bounty hunters. Jeter does in print what Anderson does on the comic page.
