Gives a good general overview of what a manager needs to know about the IS department. There is not a lot of technical information, just more of an overview.

I needed this text for a Information Technology class. I do not like the text. I wish I will never have to use it again. The information given in the text is quite vague especially for someone that has limited knowledge in IS.

I TRIED to buy this book for a class. Unfortunately, I never received it from half.com. Ended up spending ANOTHER $39 to buy it from the University Bookstore. Not too happy with half.com's guaranty BTW, but the book is pretty good for a textbook.
