This is an excellent camera for those photographers that like to take their time in composing the shot. It is beautifully made and quite rugged for those who would like to use for outdoor use like my self.
The film flatness of the film back, the quality of the lens glass, and the bellows mechanism of the body produce very sharp images that permit a high resolution image. This system from Mamiya is also known for their ability to do close up and macro photography.
One key feature that everyone that owned one enjoys is the availability of accessories.
I had owned previously a Mamiya RB67 system. Sold it to go DSLR and found my self missing the system. Now I’m putting together a RZ67 Pro II system to use with a Phase One digital back to be able to shoot film and digital. I still enjoy Black and White chemical darkroom work. Mamiya cameras are just great fun to use if you like to have full control of your photo creation.
