I bought the DVD for my daughter. She watches it about 3-4 times a week and enjoys it each time. I like the DVD because there are no commercials on it. It is in chronicalogical order.

I love this DVD. The picture quality is excellent, the sound is perfect, and I can see exactly the episodes the I want. I loved the show, and have been greatly comforted by it during good times and bad. It was a major factor in my visiting Hawaii (the Mama goes to Hawaii double episode), as well as is something to look forward to when I go home from work.

Bought this for my 23 yr old daughter who is a fan of Mama's Family. She loved it, says there were episodes she had never seen before. And all really funny.

I can't wait to watch when I go visit her.

This series was the funniest on tv, and I can't wait until season two comes out. It did get better every year. My whole family loves it, and we watch it, almost falling off the sofa laughing.

I bought this DVD MaMas family season two a few weeks ago, love it, it futured Carole Burnette in a few of the shows, I really enjoyed this Season, now to find Season Two.

I bought Mama's Family DVD for my Grandmother for Christmas. Grandmother loves that show and she loved the DVD! It was her favorite gift, and she watched it Christmas eve. Her face lit up when she saw the DVD! Grandmother hates commercials and theses DVDs are commercial free. The price was right too, the seller I bought it from beat Wal-Mart's prices! I only wish they had season 2 and 3 out so I could buy those for her too!

Have always loved this series. I think anyone who has had or currently has family living with them can relate to it. I decided to by this as the syndication is not oftened seen on television. I miss the show.....so wanted to have easy access to it in my own library.

the first 3 or 4 episodes were good on the first disc, on the second disc they were all boring and not very good. I like the later seasons of mamas family when bubba was in it.

One of the funniest shows ever on TV. Would love to get all the episodes on DVD. the writing is superb and the actors are all perfect for their roles. But they are much more than comedians. Each episode brought so many wonderful human qualities to each character. It is really fun to see Carol Burnett return and bring her Eunice to life again. One can only hope the Warner Bros. will get smart and release all of the episodes. Iola and Bubba are two more wonderful characters that added so much. And, of course, the show would be pointless without the brilliant Vicki Lawrence.
